The Old Stores House

The Old Stores House was built in 1775 as a merchant’s house. This classic Georgian town house has been both a shop and a café. It has been sensitively restored and retains a feeling of cottage like comfort.

Bed and Breakfast accommodation is available in a family or a twin room which is en-suite.

All produce is local, free range and organic where possible, with home made jams and marmalade.

There is a comfortable lounge for guests with a TV and a wood fire in the inglenook.

TVs and tea making facilities are provided in all rooms, 1 well behaved pet is welcome. A cot and high chair are available and there is private parking provided.

The Cottage

The Cottage is attached to the house and dates from the same period. It faces the old market square and what was once part of the cattle market now provides private parking for guests.

Awarded 4 stars by the Wales Tourist Board, it has a kitchen with all mod. cons, a lounge with exposed timbers and a bed settee, TV and video.

The light and airy landing is often used as a reading and study area.

The large bedroom has a double bed, single bed and folding bed if needed. The bathroom is en-suite with both a bath and an electric shower.

A cot and high chair are available. One well behaved pet is welcome, all linen is provided and electricity charges are included.
